NAVIGATING IMMIGRATION INFORMATION

In a world where misinformation spreads faster than truth—especially regarding immigration policies—it's become increasingly difficult to separate fact from fiction. The WhatsApp videos or messages forwarded multiple times flooding our phones can be more harmful than helpful when shared without verification.

That's why I wanted to highlight "Point of Law," a series featuring two Jamaican-heritage US based lawyers breaking down the basics of immigration law. Created by community member Mikey T, this series is cutting through the noise and providing much-needed clarity.

The conversations happening inside the COF community around this content have been enlightening and supportive.

Why It Matters: When it comes to immigration, accurate information isn't just preferable—it's essential. Decisions based on misinformation can have serious consequences for families and individuals.

Please check out "Point of Law" not just for yourself, but to share with anyone in your network navigating the immigration system or concerned about recent policy changes.
